LaSt nIgHt iN kO saMuI

how time flies! tonight lis like the last night of my ko samui trip. the trip has been very fruitful and enjoyable, thanks to the company i had.

after the day tour yesterday, today morning started with a dilemma as to what to do for the day. finally decided on a tailor made tour.. i.e. we book a driver for half a day and he will bring us wherever we want to go. cost us 1200B per person this time round.. =.=

today's activities were, to a certain extent, much more interesting than yesterday's. we went back to the waterfall area, this time for an elephant ride and a crocodile/monkey/elephant show. the shows were rather amusing, but as an animal rights supporter i wouldn't want to encourage the rearing of animals for performance purposes.

other activities worth mentioning were the small temple by the coast that's nice and golden, and a magic garden where lots of cute stone statues can be found. that magic garden's like at the top of a very high mountain. very breathtaking way up.

went back to the hotel at night and this time the hotel has a hydropool! sat inside for an hour and enjoyed the jets of water shooting at the back while in the pool. then for dinner we had swedish food! the owner on the restaurant is swedish and he married a thai wife.. so the food is a combination of swede and thai styles. the restaurant is only 2 months old, but the design is simple and cosy. then they have a 4 week old puppy called lazy. damn cute. kinda looks like fifi. (aww don't we all miss fifi). food's not bad. espcially loved yeo's potato salad! shall learn how to make it the swede way some day.. hehex. kinda like ikea's food.

poor napoleon's in hospital for appendixitis.. finished his op but think he's still in pain. visiting him once we get back to bangkok.. hope tt he recovers soon! :)

called mum and confirmed her flight details. skype's really an amazing program. at 1B a min with a good connection its 95% like real time phone calls.. was joking that if i use skype enough my laptop is going to pay for itself.. =.=
