cnx bkk!

back in bangkok! went to ayutthaya today. liked the ancient stuff here and there! got to drive a cute lil' golf car around the king's summer residence! :D

brandon and jensen coming in may! luckily they chose a time tt coincides with my offs! (which i have yet to plan) (edit: sry enming deardear). miss the peeps at MSA! but thailand is too fun (which my mum agreed) so i won't be going back early.

will upload a few pics as soon as i get the chance!

its the last and final day of songkran in thailand! went to hollywood for a big water party! the ppl at hollywood are really smart.. they turned off the taps and sold water. we paid abt 5000B in drinks and water! =.=


some ppl were armed with water guns and powder (:X). but we just had a constant supply of ice water to toss around. after a while when everyone around you gets drenched you just couldn't care more and start attacking anyone who is remotely dry.. all in the spirit of songkran! :)

guess having celebrated songkran and having gone to so many provinces in thailand, i can go back with no regrets :)

the second day of songkran is much more peaceful in camp! some very enthusiastic thais throwing flour in the canteen during lunch! heard that the real action began after 3pm where RSM declared close shop.. :)

decided to go down to bangkok a bit earlier to prepare for the trip. shall type the itinerary here just in case..

its the time of the year! 3 days of songkran celebrations.. :) *grins*

for those who do not know.. songkran is the thai new year. its more commonly known as the water festival as one can get wet anywhere, anytime.. (like poor me lolx.)

people go around in herds and dump water at one another! i got ambushed at the canteen today and had a few pails of water dumped on me.. then the peeps tossed me into a pond.. =.= totally dreanched.. then for an aftermath there was flour war.. all in the spirit of songkran.. :)

wow. been counting a bit.. so far i've passed my halfway mark in thailand.. means i got less than 4 1/2 months left. (out of 9). must treasure the time left here. i also passed the 2/3 mark of my NS liability! less than 8 months to ORD! i must really confess that i'm a very lucky person who's had the chance to experience a lot from my NS term. all thanks to a lucky fall into a certain drain on that fateful night.. :) haha

my daddy and mummy coming in 2 days!! so excited! going to pack my stuff tonight. hopefully everything goes smoothly. miss them so much! *blows a kiss to mummy* haha =)

feels damn good to step into bangkok again. now that the previous prime minister has stepped down, we can go to bangkok again (thanks!)

got to know some ppl! trying to pick up even more thai. hopefully beyond the survival level (which i can probably fail now). booked my parents' hotel and day tours! (cost a bomb =.= mum u know what to do if u are reading this..) looking forward to seeing my parents! got a few surprises in the bag for them.. lolx.

shall quit dota again (=.=) . its time to step up the engines on my thai!

checked the NUS webbie!~ apparently the interview and written tests are on 29 and 30 of april. which means i need to go back to singapore. but it's clashing with 6 days of double life firing which i have to go support.. shall call NUS up in a few days after i receive their letter.. this is most unfortunate.. :(
